THE WAG lifestyle may appeal to some, but it's not quite LIZ MCCLARNON'S bag.
The ATOMIC KITTEN singer split from Bristol City striker LEE TRUNDLE last December after a brief engagement and Liz doubts she'll be treading down that path again.
"It can get very lonely being with a footballer," revealed Liz.
"There are a lot of fixtures to play and a fair bit of travelling, so sometimes it was hard to see each other.
"My relationship with Lee sort of came to an end. We didn't love each other any more and the split was amicable."
And what does she think of other WAGS?
Liz replies: "Some of them are nice and the girls I know are lovely. But you hear about others who really give them a bad name."
Liz - who was also formally engaged to BLUE singer LEE RYAN - is now going out with someone she will only describe as a "businessman from London".
She explains: "I was always quite open about my relationships in the past, so I'm going to keep this one quiet for a bit, see how that goes."
It's surprising she can fit a new relationship into her busy schedule.
Liz is relaunching her pop career and hopes to bring out a new album in the next few months.
"It's going to be very 'poppy' and quite 'dancey'," Liz reveals. "A bit like Kylie's Can't Get You Out Of My Head stuff.
"I've worked with some brilliant producers so I'm really happy with it - hopefully we'll start getting it out after the summer."
She hasn't released any material since she got back together with Atomic Kitten bandmates NATASHA HAMILTON and JENNY FROST to bring out a one-off track - a cover of CILLA BLACK's Anyone Who Had A Heart. It was designed to raise money for Liverpool charities.
"We won't be recording anything new," she said. "We might just get together for the odd gig for the fans - and so we can pretend we are 18 again by getting really drunk."
That's ruling out the big comeback then - something the band's former pop rivals are currently doing in their droves.
Liz said: "I went to the BOYZONE comeback gig recently and they were brilliant. I think all the comebacks have been great. I went to the see TAKE THAT and SPICE GIRLS, it's absolutely brilliant."
Previous talk of a return for the Kittens reopened old wounds involving ex-member, KERRY KATONA.
Kerry was reportedly upset she was not asked to rejoin the band after leaving in 2001 to have her first baby.
"There was a lot of speculation she was going to invited back to the band," said Liz.
"But people didn't talk about Atomic Kitten when it was Me, Tash and Kerry.
"Atomic Kitten got famous when it was me, Tash and Jenny, so that's what Atomic Kitten is - us three."
